LECTURER CENTRE John Hey has put together a number of valuable resources designed to support your teaching. He has drawn on his extensive experience of teaching microeconomics to create the materials which tie in closely with the book. These resources are intended to save you a great deal of time in course preparation and are full of useful information and tips on teaching intermediate microeconomics. They also contain a full set of OHP slides and other material for use in lectures. The lecturer equipped with this package can simply walk into the lecture theatre, switch on the computer or the overhead projector and start lecturing. The textbook and the lecturer centre form a package which provides you with a ready made solution to teaching this course. The material within the Lecturer Centre includes:
You are advised to first look at the Lecturer Manual as it not only tells you about the book (and how to teach it) but it also tells you about the resources that come with the book to help you during your lectures. If you have Maple, the lecture files come complete - in a ready-to-project format: all you need to do is walk into the lecture theatre, plug in your laptop to the projection system and start your lecture. Everything you need is there. If you do not have Maple, we supply a complete set of PowerPoint slides which contains the same graphical material. You can project these or copy them onto overhead projector slides. One way or the other, all the material you need for lectures which precisely complement the book is available here. You will be able to give lectures with precision drawn graphs ready for projection. This Lecturer Centre also contains tutorial questions and other material to reinforce your teaching.
